| Galloni 93 :The 2010 Petresco shows the darker side of Sangiovese. Black cherries, plums, smoke, sage, tobacco and leather are all pushed forward in a big, powerful wine that is going to need time to soften and become fully expressive. Then again, the Cinciole wines have a way of blossoming in bottle, so it will be interesting to see what time brings. -- Antonio Galloni |
